(COZA CARES FOUNDATION) COZA Cares Foundation is a non-governmental organization (NGO) arm of The Commonwealth of Zion Assembly (COZA), which is duly registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission. This vision was borne and birthed by our Senior Pastors, the Reverend Biodun and Pastor Modele Fatoyinbo, with the sole purpose of giving back to its immediate community and ensuring smiles on the faces of people who are vulnerable, less privileged and down trodden. The COZA Cares Foundation, achieves its purpose by organizing benevolent outreaches targeted at:
Since its inception, COZA Cares Foundation has reached out to not less than fifteen thousand (15, 000) widows and five thousand (5, 000) orphans with food, clothing and cash gifts via its various Widows & Orphans Outreaches and its “Shop till You Drop” Initiatives. These numbers keep increasing as the foundation has made a commitment to keep reaching out to orphans and widows at least once every month.
These caring gestures are aside widows and orphans that are being selected frequently over the years to be beneficiaries of the Foundation’s Business Setup Initiatives and have had a regular means of subsistence and livelihood setup for them in a bid to make them independent.
In 2017, the Foundation adopted the Lepers’ Colony in Kwali and the IDP camp in Durunmi areas of the FCT Abuja, where it also embarks on monthly visits with food items, clothing and basic living essentials for its residents to have a better life. The COZA Cares Foundation is poised at ensuring it keeps putting smiles on the faces of the people that the community seem to have neglected.
To further carry out this unique passion, we engage in specialized community invasion outreaches where we communicate the gospel of Jesus Christ in the simplest possible form and carry out other community development projects that the communities can relate with.
This outreach is specifically aimed at soul winning, providing medical care and preventive gadgets such as mosquito nets, making available educative enhancement items where we present back to school packages such as school bags, books, writing materials, foot wears for the children in the community to make their educative years easier.
We also carry out communally beneficial monumental projects like providing clean water to prevent water
borne diseases by installing boreholes and the likes for the benefit of the members of those communities
where we visit. Our community invasion outreach is never complete without the provision of foodstuffs,
clothing items and drugs for the community with the aid of our trained and professional officials.
This we believe is our way of touching our world, one life at a time.
